Comotomo Bottles!

If you've read my recent breastfeeding blog you'll see that I explain that Finley was bottle feeding (formula) and breastfeeding together. I've attached a link of the ONLY bottle that helped us.

I highly recommend the Comotomo Bottles! They are entirely made of silicone. It was easy for my little one to hold onto and the short nipple helped him not to choke. I found that with a lot of baby bottles the nipple was just to long and he would end up choking on the nipple before even getting any milk.

Tip 101: In case you weren't aware, Breastfed babies make a little cup shape with their tongues when they breastfeed. Bottlefed babies usually move their tongue to the back of their mouth to make room for the big nipples. If you use your tongue, push it up on the roof of your mouth and then slide it back you'll feel a spot that is softer for the rest. That's where a bottle touches on a bottle fed baby. Hense why Finley had such an easier time with a short nipple bottle. Please keep in mind that this bottle worked the best for us, I can't promise the same results for everyone.
